In need of satisfying our hankering for apple pie, fresh air, and fall leaves, we made our way east to the small town of Julian. With not much to do besides meander through a few antique shops, wait in line for pie, and bask in its mountain town quaintness, we did just that.
A tired baby made for apple pie a la mode to go. Not ideal, but even in a styrofoam take out container with a plastic fork, apple pie is apple pie. Worth the drive every time.
